Ministry Opportunities!
Hi everyone,
As mentioned at the last LG Sunday sermon, attached please find an updated CPBC ministry opportunities list. It is important to see that serving God is not a stand-alone thing or only for some. It is a Kingdom way of life. It is also very much an integral part of the discipleship pathway here at CPBC. By stepping up to serve, we are living out the larger goal of being “Compassionate to Go”, a God-given mission for this Ekklesia.
In the e-form below, you can indicate the top three areas of service you would like to be involved with. The respective ministry coordinators will then get in touch with you to give you more information and answer questions you may have. The deadline for submission of this form will be 14 April.
This exercise is a call for those who have yet to find a place of service within CPBC. It’s time to step forward and experience the joy and fulfillment of serving God. In serving, we too grow in the Lord. Please take time to prayerfully consider how your passion, talents and gifts can be used to serve and build the body of Christ. Thank you for doing this!

Seeking the Lord and communing with Him, in worship, prayer and scripture reading.
Open to all generations, kids are welcome!
Once a month, Sunday, 1.30 pm onwards.
WHY
To host God’s presence and commune with him.
To raise up worshippers, intercessors, prophets.
To build a multi-generational community beyond existing social circles.
To facilitate the construction of family altars.

🔴 30 Years of Day of His Power
For three decades, since the first DOHP in 1995, the Church has gathered with hearts united, hands lifted, and knees bowed, contending for God’s purposes in Singapore.
Now, in this SG60 year, we’re not slowing down. We’re going ALL IN.
This year, to mark the 30th anniversary of DOHP, there will be 30 prayer gatherings across 30 regional centres on our National Day weekend.

Pastor Derek Hong served thirty-six years in the Anglican denomination, leading Church of Our Saviour, Singapore. He is married to Su Lan; have 2 grown-up sons and 4 grandchildren.
In 1978, the Holy Spirit began to move powerfully in revival among the church members. Following that many cell groups and ministries related to healing, deliverance and counselling were raised.
The attendance at services grew from about 75 in 1976 to more than 4,000. Developments include the miraculous provision of a cinema for their worship auditorium in 1985. The church resources and supports various ministries, missionaries as well as releasing teams into cross-cultural outreaches and church planting all over Asia.
Pastor Derek stepped down as senior pastor at the end of 2011. He served as consultant to churches and currently pastors Good Gifts City Church. His mandate is to uphold the dimension of the supernatural before the Body of Christ and invest into future leaders.
