We celebrated with a vibrant worship with children's choir and dancing!
Evangeline Tong gave a sermon on “Noah” with the children helping her to illustrate the story with visuals and their participation. The message was on God’s promises to man; regardless of the situation we are in He will never leave us and His promises are upon us. Evangeline also shared her own personal testimony on how God kept His promises when she was going through difficulties in relating to her parents. The children appreciated this, especially the community kids who interrupted with questions to the delight of the “Big Children”.
Ps. Olga, our guest speaker, shared about how we as children relate to our heavenly father and how earthly fathers should relate to their children. The key scripture was on Mathew 18:6 “But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin...” She also shared how children are special and precious. As parents we need to nuture and guide our children in Godly values. She shared about the Fathers who must take the great responsibility as the leader of the house. Finally, she spoke about God’s promise of “Restoration” in Malachi 4:6 “He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the hearts of the children to their parents…”
A number of children from the community and our kids from KidZone gave their lives to Jesus.
The service ended with great carnival atmosphere, with Candy Floss, Balloon Sculpture, Games Booth, Face Painting, Ice-Cream and a McDonald’s lunch. The children and their parents had a really great time enjoying themselves.
